CLUB WORLD CUP: MARESCA TO MISS TWO IMPORTANT CHELSEA STARS IN CLASH WITH FLUMINENSE

EL-ZION NEWS

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca will be without two crucial squad members for the Club World Cup semi-final clash against Fluminense on Tuesday night.

Defender Levi Colwill and forward Liam Delap will both miss the match due to suspension, having received their second yellow cards of the tournament during the previous game against Palmeiras.

During his pre-match press conference, Maresca indicated that recent signing Joao Pedro is likely to step in for Delap, which has added to ongoing questions about Nicolas Jackson's role in the team.

He added, “I think Joao can play in all the attacking positions for Chelsea and that is the difference with Nico.

“I see Nico as just a number 9 but I see Joao in different positions.”
